Dr Jan de Jonge

Visiting Professor

Jan de Jonge is Full Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, and Head of the Human Performance Management Group. He is also a Visiting Professor at Loughborough University’s School of Business and Economics, a role he has held since 2004.

He has a PhD in Occupational Health Psychology. His current teaching, research, and other activities are on Work and Organizational Psychology, Human Performance Management, as well as on Advanced Methods & Statistics. Furthermore, he has several editorial responsibilities for international and national scientific journals:
1) Editor of the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology (JOOP); 2) Interim Chairman of the Editorial Board of the Dutch journal 'Behavior & Organization'; 3) Consulting Editor of the Review of Work and Organizational Psychology (formerly known as 'Revista de Psicología del Trabajo y de las Organizaciones').

Jan is particularly working together with Kevin Daniels and Alistair Cheyne, both members of the Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour Research Group. Research topics are mainly concerned with job stress, health and performance.
