Ruth has worked within the Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour Research Group since 2004. Within this time she has worked on a number of projects.
These include:

Ruth is also undertaking a part-time PhD at Loughborough, investigating safety culture within the construction industry.
In addition to teaching (Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Personal Effectiveness and Advanced Interpersonal Skills) at the Business School, Ruth has presented guest lectures and workshops at the University of Sheffield, Aston University and Newman College of Further Education.
Ruth helped to secure research funding from the Health and Safety Executive to conduct a literature review into key human factors involved in workplace transport accidents.
Prior to joining Loughborough University, Ruth worked as a Psychologist for the Health and Safety Laboratory, who mainly conduct research on behalf of the Health and Safety Executive. She has also worked for the NHS and as a Research Assistant at the University of Sheffield.
