Deborah Walker
Tutor/ Lecturer in Occupational Health and Safety Management
Deborah is a member of CHaRM and has responsibility for the short course programme. Her current interests are in areas of health and safety management in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Specific topics include risk assessment in small firms, motivating influences on SMEs to manage health and safety and the role of intermediaries in supporting SMEs and strategy issues for small firms' intervention. Deborah's interests also include behavioural approaches to health and safety and health and safety in call centres.
Deborah is the joint author of Tolley's Office Health and Safety (1995).
