Director of Security Programmes
Danie Adendorff is the Director of the Postgraduate Programme in Security Management.
Main areas of responsibility include:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Security Management
- Postgraduate Diploma in Security Management
- MSc in Security Management
- Postgraduate Programme promotion
Danie has been involved in the international security industry for the past 25 years. Originally from South Africa, Danie moved to the UK and worked for six years as Site Manager for various guarding companies on the Eurostar Contract.
Prior to joining the PMDC at Loughborough University, Danie was employed as Senior lecturer at Bucks New University. Danie graduated in 2009 at Loughborough University with an MSc in Security Management with distinction. His research won the inaugural Sir Wilf Knight 2009 award; he also won the ASC Lord Imbert 2010 prize for the best university dissertation. Danie is member of the Security Institute.
