Professor of Organisational Psychology
Professor Kevin Daniels is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Chartered Psychologist and a Full Member of the Division of Occupational Psychology of the British Psychological Society. His current research interests are focused on emotion, stress, well-being, safety and innovation at work. He is particularly interested in the fluid nature of job design and in how job design promotes effective problem-solving activity. His recent work has been funded by the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council and the Health and Safety Executive.
Kevin's work is underpinned by a strong commitment to developing theory and theoretically grounded methods. Much of his recent work has used event sampling methods, including assessments administered by personal digital assistants.
Kevin is an associate editor of Human Relations and is on the editorial boards of British Journal of Management, Journal of Management and Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology.
