Majd has been awarded a full studentship to complete his PhD. Prior to starting the PhD programme in 2017, Majd has worked in the industry as a Junior Engineer and Operations Manager for two companies in Jordan. He has also completed several collaborative projects with multiple companies such as Cisco during his studies
Majd holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management and a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management with focus on innovation and family firms – Loughborough University, UK. He is a certified Omnichannel marketing advisor accredited by MediaMath.
Majd is an Incorporated Engineer and a member of Jordanian Engineers Association. He is also a member of the Marketing and Retailing group and the Centre for Service Management in the School of Business and Economics.

To investigate the impact of omnichannel on town centre retail performance. More specifically, the research will investigate the customer experience across multiple channels to understand the influence of experience on consumer shopping journey and ultimately its impact on town centre performance.
