Doctoral Researcher in International Business, Strategy and Innovation

Kayode joined the doctoral research programme at the Loughborough School of Business and Economics in 2013. He is one of the research students in the centre for Global Sourcing and Services’ (CGSS). Prior to commencing his doctoral studies, Kayode completed an MSc in Information Systems and Management with distinction from the Warwick Business School, University of Warwick. His dissertation explored the Impact of global 'best practices' often imposed through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) process design: A case Study of Cornwall Council’s ERP Implementation. Kayode has three years’ work experience as a Network and Security Analyst in a financial services company in Nigeria; he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems integration

 

Research Plan:

Kayode’s research seeks to gain more understanding of the back-sourcing phenomenon from a knowledge re-integration perspective by developing insights into the strategic, operational and social barriers to re-integrating and re-building capabilities within the firm and the performance consequences thereof.
