I have a background in sport and exercise science and have worked for 15 years as a fitness advisor specialising in health related fitness, most recently for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.  6 years ago I decided I wanted to alter the path of my career to specialise in psychology and went on to take an accredited post graduate diploma in Psychology followed by MSc in Health Psychology at Coventry University.  I have a special interest in Occupational Health and Wellbeing as well as the management of long term health conditions, which I currently teach at Masters level at Coventry University.

In my personal life I am a competitive swimmer and keen amateur cook.
