Doctoral Researcher in International Business, Strategy and Innovation

Ilias Gerogiannis joined the Centre for Global Sourcing and Services (CGSS) as a PhD Researcher, in January 2015, after being awarded a research studentship. He holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Crete in Greece and a MSc in Organisational and Economic Psychology from the Panteion University in Greece.

Ilias has experience in research positions related to EU policies and programmes, having worked in organisations such as the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound), where he was a member of the European Restructuring Monitor (ERM) research team.  In 2012, he was awarded the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) grant scholarship for a project on organisational culture and quality of care in hospitals.  

Research Interest:

Global outsourcing and offshoring of advanced tasks.
