Doctoral Researcher in Accounting and Finance

Frederick joined Loughborough University in October 2014 as a PhD student. Prior to this, he studied for his MSc. Banking and Finance (Distinction) from the University of Leicester, UK in 2013 and also holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (First Class Honours) from the University of Professional Studies, Accra, Ghana in 2011.

Working under the supervision of Gregory James and Alistair Milne his research focus is on Project Finance. Frederick is currently researching on how financial intermediation and risk management techniques are used to create value in project finance. 

Frederick is the founding Director of Empire Research Consult, Ghana, and currently holds the position of a Research Director. He also had a one (1) year stint with Stamp Ghana Limited. as a Research Associate (Economic & Finance) prior to joining Loughborough University.

Frederick’s research plan is to produce three publishable papers relating to “Financial intermediation and risk management in Project Finance.”
