Professor Akram Al Ariss presents seminar on the careers of skilled migrants
On 26 January 2012 the Centre for Professional Work and Careers will host a seminar titled “Careers of skilled migrants: towards a theoretical and methodological expansion”. The presenter is Akram Al Ariss, Professor of International Human Resource Management at Champagne School of Management, France.
Professor Ariss will provide a critical review of literature on the careers of skilled migrants. His paper also offers a model for future research on this under-theorised research area.
The event is the latest to be organised by the Centre for Professional Work and Careers. The Centre, based within the School of Business and Economics at Loughborough University, was set up to conduct research into the rapidly changing landscape of contemporary professional work and careers.
