SBE Undergraduates make it through to the semi-final of the Universities Business Challenge

3 groups of SBE first year students have just completed the yearly Universities Business Challenge, an online simulation game where teams of 5 students compete against other Universities. The game lasts 6 weeks with weekly decisions made about stock and pricing and the teams who have made the most profit go through to the next round.

One of our teams, comprising of Charlie Rogers, Henry Prempeh, Prathi Tandon, Scott Andrews and KK Orelaja, has progressed this year and will take part in the semi-final in March.

Team leader Charlie (First Year International Business) said:

My participation in the UBC has allowed me to develop inter-personal skills among like-minded people and become adept in the decision making process involved with a large corporate business, setting myself and the rest of the team apart in our future placement applications and career prospects.
