Nottingham Panthers extend partnership with the SBE

The partnership between GMB Nottingham Panthers and Loughborough University's School of Business and Economics has been extended for the next two years.

Entering the third year of partnership with Loughborough University, the bespoke deal allows the Panthers' coaching staff to bring in players who want to look to their future career by studying for an MBA degree at the SBE, one of the UK’s top business schools, and at a university renown the world over for its links with top flight athletes and sport.

The Panthers have said it has been a great fit for the club, with the likes of Jeff Dimmen, Geoff Waugh and Brad Moran entering their second year at Loughborough this fall whilst Bryan Schmidt will graduate this summer.

Loughborough University is recognised as the UK’s No.1 university for sport. The School of Business and Economics is consistently rated in the UK’s top ten, and with more than 40 years’ experience of delivering management education the School has excellent links with industry and works with over 400 companies around the world (including Aggregate Industries, Santander, Boots, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, PwC, IBM and Rolls-Royce).
