Suggested Reading to Prepare for your MBA
The MBA at Loughborough University covers a comprehensive set of topics across all aspects of Business Administration and Management. For each of your modules you will be supplied with a list of essential and recommended reading by the Module Tutor.
We are often asked by students preparing to undertake an MBA if there is a list of pre-reading that they can do. Whilst no one book can cover all aspects of an MBA, we have put together this list of some books that will help you to get a flavour of studying for an MBA.
The books below are suggested reading only for preparation and are organised by category so that you can select those books that will be of most help to you. We do not recommend that you purchase books until you have started the course, rather this list gives you an idea of the kind of books that you would be expected to read in addition to published journal articles and reports. We have a comprehensive range of books and journals available in our library for you to use when you start the course.
