What is your experience of the MBA at Loughborough so far?
Loughborough offers an excellent learning environment with a broad spectrum of students, whose personal and professional experience enriches the learning process.

How has the MBA helped your career and organisation?
I have developed a greater more comprehensive and well-rounded view of business and its needs and constraints, which has helped me better understand and work alongside clients and colleagues, internally and externally.

Why did you choose this particular course?
A combination of Loughborough University’s reputation and the requirement for ‘executive’ relevant business experience led me to choose the Loughborough MBA.

What did you do/study before embarking on the course?
I was a team leader for a group of 13 project managers and engineers at an international research organisation.

What made you decide to take an MBA?
To improve my business acumen and develop a more rounded understanding to business and its various functional requirements.

How has the course encouraged you to think and behave differently at work?
Speaking and learning form others on the course has provided an invaluable insight into many different industries and their requirements. This, alongside the material taught on the course has allowed me to identify, interpret and assess scenarios in many different ways due to new tacit knowledge and comprehension of business theory.

What was the support like in ‘returning to learning’?
Very good, there are library sessions, skill sessions, revision sessions and continuous support from both colleagues and academic staff.

What would you say to someone considering the Loughborough MBA?
It has been a brilliant experience and I would strongly recommend it. I have been self-funded and do not resent a £!
