About this event
The Loughborough Enterprise Network is pleased to invite you to an evening networking event with Charlie Fraser and Fred Kastner, co-founders of The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network (TERN). They will share their experiences of building a social enterprise in the UK and offer insights in to the challenges and rewards associated with advocating for a social group that draws diverse political and public attention.
The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network (TERN) works to support refugees in becoming self-sufficient through their own enterprises. By assisting refugees in reaching this goal, TERN hopes to transform public perceptions of refugees’ capacities and ability to contribute to host country economies and communities; as well as transform decision making by governments and investors to create a more favourable climate for refugee integration, entrepreneurship and innovation.
