Dr James Crick:

  • Since starting as a Lecturer in Marketing at Loughborough University in September 2017, I have had five academic journal articles accepted, three of which are as a single-author.
  • Also, I was invited to write a book viewpoint on my research interests in sports marketing. This book viewpoint was subsequently accepted and will appear in the next edition of Fill and Turnbull’s book, Marketing Communications.
  • I have held an Adjunct Scholar role at the University of Ottawa since February 2017, for which I regularly undertake collaborative research with two full professors in the department.
  • In addition, I have been invited to present my ongoing work on the entrepreneurial marketing strategies employed in the wine industry, namely, at the University of Ottawa (twice in 2017) and the University of Portsmouth (2017).
  • My reviewing experience began 2014, for which I have reviewed extensively for several academic journals and conferences. This experience includes reviewing for a range of ABS: 3/4* journals.
