Following the success of the workshop in 2015 entitled ‘Knowledge Management in the Voluntary Sector’, the Centre for Information Management in collaboration with the Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) is delighted to invite you to register for: Knowledge Management in Practice. 

The one-day workshop will be packed with insights from a diverse range of industry experts and experienced academics about the importance of effective knowledge managememt (KM) in this rapidly evolving and complex sector that is influenced by policies, politics and technological advancements.  The contributors include Professor Simon Burnett (RGU), Professor Kevin Lomas (LU), Dr Gavin Harper (B’ham Energy Institute), Dr Mike Colechin (ETI) Dr David Clarke (ETI) Nicky Morgan MP and various others. 

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in initiating or improving their organisation’s knowledge management practices. There will be opportunities to hear of the benefits and challenges of managing knowledge in the energy sector as well as a chance to share your own experiences with practitioners from a diverse range of organisations. There will also be excellent networking opportunities throughout the day.
