It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that Professor Neil Doherty passed away in his sleep early on Monday, 23^rd January. 

Colleagues, students and friends from the School of Business and Economics, and wider University, are deeply shocked and saddened. Neil was a great colleague and friend to many.  He had worked in the School for over 25 years. 

Our thoughts are with his wife and family.

Books of Remembrance are now open in the Chapel on campus, the EHB and in the School of Business and Economics Room BE.1.01 (Sir Richard Morris building).
