Postgraduate study
A friendly Department, we aim to provide an academically stimulating and supportive environment for our postgraduate students.
The Physics Department provides ample opportunity for postgraduate study. With a MSc in Research studies and other research opportunities (MPhil & PhD) it is considered a strong research school.
With ten different MSc pathways being offered there is enough flexibility for students to tailor their course to the career direction they wish to take. The MPhil and PhD opportunities are very similar, allowing eight different research themes to be studied.
