Topic of Research: Growth and Development of Co2MnSi Thin Films for use in devices utilising the spin-Seebeck Effect
Research areas: Thin Film Thermoelectrics, Ultra-High Vacuums, X-Ray and Neutron Scattering and Optical Magnetometry
My research is focussed around fabrication and analysis of thin half-metallic films for use in thermoelectric devices based on the spin-Seebeck Effect. My research has involved work with UHV systems, various x-ray scattering methods, polarised neutron reflectometry (Polref at ISIS, RAL) and magnetometry.
