Dmitry Gulevich, Alex Zagoskin and Paul Bell received a grant from NVIDIA

NVIDIA Corporation supports collaboration of Dmitry Gulevich, Alex Zagoskin from Physics and Paul Bell from Computer Science in simulating large quantum coherent systems.

NVIDIA Corporation has made a decision to support collaboration of Dmitry Gulevich, Alex Zagoskin from Physics and Paul Bell from Computer Science and donate the most recent graphics processor for massively parallel computation. The researches will receive Tesla Kepler 40, which consists of 2,880 processor cores and aims to deliver peak double precision performance of 1.66 Tflops. This state-of-the-art hardware will be used to design novel algorithms in simulating large quantum coherent systems.
