The AMSTC was formed in 1990, and is one of the registered R & D centres of the Department of Trade and Industry (Dti) in UK. The centre was formed to support UK industry in particular the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), by undertaking short term industrial and technology transfer projects.

The members of the centre have wide a range of expertise and are currently involved in a number of National and European programmes. We are keen to discuss possible opportunities for collaborative R & D projects with both academics and industrialist in these subject areas.
