This website aims to provide a focus for equestrianism in the East Midlands region. The site has been developed as part of a funded* survey of equestrianism in the East Midlands, which was prompted by equestrianism’s growing ‘profile of opportunity’ and the many (sometimes inconsistent) ‘faces’ that equestrianism presents within itself and to wider society.

It is hoped that the survey results and this website will contribute to achieving at least some of the opportunities and help to develop a broader understanding of the complex nature of equestrianism.
