DyslexSim is a staff development tool developed at Loughborough University by Nigel Beacham and Jacqueline Szumko. The tool is for dyslexia support tutors to use to demonstration some of the visual and perceptual problems dyslexia students’ experience.

The paper, "Dyscalculia in Belgium: definition, prevalence, subtypes, comorbidity, and assessment" by Prof. Dr. Annemie Desoete, Research in Learning Disabilities, Department of Experimental Clinical and Health Psychology, Ghent University, Belgium, gives an introduction to the prevalence, definition and subtypes of dyscalculia, and then focuses on the assessment of students with dyscalculia in Belgium. It presents the TEDI-MATH a Belgian dyscalculia battery that can be used for preschool students until they reach grade 3. Then the paper illustrates how currently dyscalculia is assessed within higher education in Belgium.
