PhD Research Student

  • Start date of studies: 01 January 2016
  • Supervisors: Dr Artie Prendergast–Smith & Professor Jenya Ferapontov
  • Research areas: My research is centred in the fields of commutative algebra and algebraic geometry. In particular, I am interested in birational geometry, problems around various positivity properties of divisors and algebraic cycles, in general, and in the complexity of ideal sheaves, especially in the light of the Castelnuovo–Mumford regularity.
  • MSc in Mathematics, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE), 2009–2011
  • Doctoral studies, BUTE, 2011–2014, (supervisor: Alex Küronya, research area: the Castelnuovo–Mumford regularity and its applications)
  • PhD internship, Warsaw Center of Mathematics and Computer Science, Sept. 2014 - Jan. 2015, (supervisor: Adrian Langer)
