New PGCE in Mathematics launched

Loughborough University has launched a PGCE in Mathematics from September 2014. This is the ideal route into teaching if you're both passionate about mathematics and have a Mathematics degree (or Mathematics-related degree).

We are recruiting now for next year's PGCE course in Mathematics.

The new PGCE complements the University’s existing provision in Science (Chemistry, Biology and Physics), Physics with Mathematics, Design and Technology, and Physical Education. These courses have been highly rated in Ofsted inspections and Loughborough has been assessed as a category 'A' provider, representing 'outstanding' provision, three consecutive times since 2005.

Loughborough University has a strong tradition of teacher education and a history of successfully producing teachers who are in great demand by schools and colleges in the UK and overseas.

If you have ever considered teaching as a career or are simply weighing up your options post-graduation, why not find out more about the teacher training offered by Loughborough University by visiting http://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/teacher-education/ or contacting F.Mclaughlin@lboro.ac.uk (01509 222762).
