Scholarships
Departmental entrance scholarships are available for students classified by the University as a ‘home’ student for fee paying purposes. The value of a scholarship will be based on the student's A level results. Equivalent examinations will also be considered - please contact the admissions tutor for further details.
- £1,750: AAA from 3 A levels or equivalent
- £1,500: AAB from 3 A levels or equivalent
- £1,250: ABB from 3 A levels or equivalent
- £1,000: BBB from 3 A levels or equivalent
Those achieving AAA will also be eligible for a further £1000 from the Loughborough University Year of Entry Merit Based Scholarship.
These Departmental and University scholarships are only available in the first year of study. You must firmly accept your place in Materials at Loughborough as a first choice and must continue on your programme of study for the full academic year. If you would like further details about these entrance scholarships, please email the admissions tutor.
The scholarships are intended to be a contribution to your living and course costs. Scholarships will be automatically offered to those students who meet all of the eligibility requirements, including meeting (or exceeding) the minimum grade requirements. More information can be found on the University's scholarship pages.
