CPD short courses

These short courses have been specially selected from our modular MSc. Materials Masters Programme.
Each short course offers targeted learning in its own subject area for delegates who want quality professional development training, but not a complete postgraduate degree programme.
Each course usually lasts 3-5 days and is an intensive mix of lectures, practicals, case studies and group activity.
The courses are held at Loughborough University, in modern well equipped conference facilities and within the department’s extensive laboratory, analysis and testing facilities.
These short courses have been approved for “Professional Development” by IOM3 (Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining) and can form an important part of your portfolio of Professional Development activities.
Attendees on our short courses can choose from a wide selection of local accommodation and the University’s own hotel and conference facilities at Burleigh Court and the Link Hotel.
Our “No Disadvantage” Promise.
Delegates who attend any of our short courses and then decide, within 12 months, to register for a Materials post graduate qualification MSc. PGD or PGC. Can retake that module for free. This allows for anyone who decides too late to complete coursework or sit an exam.
