Welcome
Dynamics Days Europe is a series of annual international conferences founded in the 1980s that provides a European forum for developments in the theory and applications of nonlinear dynamics. For over twenty years it has been bringing together researchers from a wide range of backgrounds including physics, mathematics and biology for interdisciplinary research in nonlinear science.
The 27th Dynamics Days Europe is a joint venture between Loughborough University and the University of Nottingham. The meeting will take place at Loughborough University from the morning of Monday 9 July 2007 to lunchtime on Friday 13 July 2007. We anticipate that most delegates will arrive on Sunday evening and a welcome buffet reception for all delegates will be served at 6pm that day.
There will be ten plenary talks, each of which is associated with a minisymposium. Six special themed sessions have also been arranged, and there will be sessions of contributed talks and posters. A public understanding of science lecture for a general audience and a satellite meeting of the East Midlands Stochastic Analysis Seminar on Stochastic Dynamical Systems complete the programme.
