University open days

The first type of open day is for schools and the general public and gives you an opportunity to explore the large campus; most university facilities are open and food is available. There are opportunities to discuss your higher education and career plans with staff from the Department of Mathematical Sciences and to visit the Mathematics Learning Support Centre. There are also tours of the Halls of residence, the Student Union, the Sports facilities and much much more! For further details contact:

Department of Mathematical Sciences open days

The second type of open day is specifically for UCAS applicants to the Department of Mathematical Sciences. If you are offered a place on one of our programmes you will be invited to visit the Department of Mathematical Sciences sometime between December and April. The visit includes presentations by the Admissions Tutor and tours of the campus with existing students. You will have opportunities to ask us anything about the University, the Department of Mathematical Sciences or your chosen programme. Parents are welcome to attend too.
