The information gathered during the project has been used as the basis for a Performance Management Resource, which records how statistics are collected and used, and how any data analyses may be accessed, to help a member of staff plan an activity or expand an area of service development. The resource will be updated regularly and, it is hoped, become an important aid for managers in their decision making, bids for funding and service development.

The Report for Year 3 demonstrates that evidence based management is now an integral part of Lancashire Library and Information Service, but the Performance Management Officer, Ann Marsh, will continue to work towards ensuring that evidence based management cascades to all levels of the service.
