Partnering on Copyright

As part of the 'Partnering on Copyright' Programme various practical tools have been developed. These provide the various stakeholders in the scholarly communication process with information and materials for practical use in the open access and self-archiving environment.

These practical tools are:

• The Copyright Toolkit - created by the 'Publishing Agreements' work package.

This digital toolkit provides a set of materials aimed at assisting both UK and Dutch academic authors, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and publishers in creating balanced publishing agreements.

• The Copyright Knowledge Bank - created by the 'Copyright Knowledge Bank' work package

This is a database which provides comprehensive details on the self-archiving policies of over 130 journal publishers.

• The 'Know Your Rights' Advovcacy Toolkit - created by the Advocacy 'Know Your Rights' work package.

This digital toolkit provides a set of practical materials to be used by those who want to raise awareness and promote open access, institutional repositories and self-archiving within HEIs.
