The Scoring Model
There are a number of economic models that have been identified by various stakeholders as a possible solution for the current dilemma of providing digitised materials to the academic community. Many of such models have detailed specifications with regard to the possible operations of a pricing mechanism. In addition to finding a suitable economic model, there is the need to identify an appropriate administrative structure that supports and maximises the output of the economic model. The aim of the interviews we are currently conducting is to discuss a wide range of economic models with their corresponding administrative structures. Ultimately, this approach will lead an open discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of specific economic arrangements. To facilitate this open exchange, we introduce on the following pages one economic model that is characterised by the cooperation of all stakeholders.
The following websites are primarily used as an information tool for those respondents that are interviewed by telephone. A detailed report about the proposed model will become available on this site soon.
