Introduction
The User Centred Design Research Group conducts world leading research into products, services, equipment and environments to ensure they meet the needs of the end users.
Combining the human factors strengths of the former ESRI, ICE and HUSAT research groups, the User Centred Design Research Group draws upon forty years of expertise in the application of user centred design in the home, at leisure, in the workplace and on the move.
About us
The User Centred Design Research Group has emerged from the former Ergonomics and Safety Research Institute and combines user centred expertise across application areas.
Our experienced research staff carry out academic and applied research, often taking a team-based approach and working closely with clients to ensure we meet their needs.
We have a growing population of research students to support and extend our knowledge. We are committed to applying our knowledge in commercially oriented enterprise partnerships.
