Design Ergonomics Research Group

About us
The Design Ergonomics Group has a strong international reputation in research across a broad range of areas. It continues to develop and grow both in size and in the impact of its research and related activities.
It comprises seven researchers; Dr Diane Gyi, Professor Roger Haslam, Dr Russell Marshall, Dr Samantha Porter, Dr Ruth Sims, Dr Steve Summerskill and Dr Patrick Waterson.
One key feature of the group's activities is the impact its research has on industry, and on end users. Whether this is through the development of tools for designers, through the contribution to design work such as vehicle interiors, the Design Ergonomics Group has a reputation for making a positive difference to people's lives.
If you would like to know more about any of our work then please investigate the 'key interests' pages. Individual members can be contacted directly through their own web pages or alternatively contact Dr Russell Marshall.
