Drivers for change in design curricula in higher education
The need to develop a strong economy based on knowledge, creativity and innovation, as well as manufacturing and services is driving a major review of the UK's design industry. Several DERG members are working on projects to support Loughborough's response to these initiatives.
Links between Design Practice Research and Design Education
An example of an area where the research conducted by the Design Practice Research Group (DPRG) can be seen to benefit design education is research concerning virtual reality by Kevin Badni. The following links are to some work he completed for the BBC.
