Undergraduate Programmes Arrow Geography and Sports Science

BSc Geography and Sports Science (Joint Honours) - UCAS code FC86

This degree attracts many students to Loughborough because it allows them both to build upon their existing geographical skills and also to develop a theoretical and practical understanding of sports sciences. The programme is run jointly by Geography and the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences. Students spend equal amounts of time studying each subject.

For students anticipating a career in teaching or coaching there are opportunities to develop these skills both during the formal degree programme and also in association with many of the sports clubs and teams under the auspices of the Loughborough University Athletic Union (see Sport at Loughborough).

Compulsory and optional modules in Geography are drawn from those listed under the Geography (Single Honours) programme.
