Extra-curricular Languages Programme
This course is designed for complete beginners and is based on topics
such as:
- Personal details
- Bar
- Train station
- Hotel
- Daily routine
- Shopping
Each week a different topic will be covered and the grammar and vocabulary related to each examined. During each session the emphasis will be on speaking and listening sometimes with the use of audio tapes.

The course is intended for those learners who have previously completed at least a 40 hour Italian course for beginners.
The aim of this course is to reinforce and extend the language skills needed for more complex conversation in every day situations. Each week a different topic will be covered, for example:

The aims of the course are to maintain and reinforce the existing knowledge of Italian and prepare learners to function effectively in a social environment when:
- Meeting people
- Talking about past, present and future times
- Talking hypothetically about what people would do in certain situations
During each session the emphasis will be on listening and speaking Italian with the use of audio & video tapes.
All course material will be provided by the tutor in the form of handouts.

The choice of topics will be discussed at the beginning of the course and students will be able to add new topics to the course programme.
