Non-invasive venous oximetry (Venox)

Overview
| Title: | Non-invasive venous oximetry (Venox) |
Abstract
The Venox technology constitutes a novel & unique method for the non-invasive measurement of venous oxygen saturation (SvO2). The Venox system can provide enhanced monitoring of essential cardio-vascular function and as such has wide implications for medical practice, health promotion and human performance assessment. No similar technology exists for monitoring the oxygen levels in the venous system and hence the consumption/demand for oxygen by the tissues.
