Non contact measurement of aortic compliance with non-linear multi-wave opto-physiological image processing approach |
Abstract
Joint research collaborations with the Biomedical Signal Processing Research Group, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Queen Mary, University of London are to investigate the technical and clinical efficacy of aortic pulse transmit time (aPTT) with our unique opto-physiological imaging setup and non-linear multi-wave imaging processing approach. Such an effective hardware associated biomedical imaging processing method offers the potential to translate these measurements from a research tool into routine clinical use for the screening of cardiovascular disease and evaluating its treatment.
