Abstract
Addressing communications systems within buildings has many problems. This project looks at the requirement to ensure adequate received power within a defined are of a building. By using a “smart brick” design simulations have shown that significant improvement in received signal strength can be achieved within a room. The project aims to improve the angular sensitivity of the “smart bricks” to improve further the received power.
