Background
Born in Xanthi, Greece. Graduated from the University of Leeds with a BEng(Hons) in Electronic and Communications Engineering in 1998. Obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2002 from Loughborough University (Control Systems Group, Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering) and the M.Sc in Advanced Electronic and Electrical Engineering (under the lifelong learning programme initiative) from the University of Leicester in 2010. From January 2002 until August 2003 was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Control and Power Group, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London. Joined Loughborough University as a lecturer in October 2003. Promoted to Senior Lecturer in August 2008.
