Paul Harvey is a research student working towards a PhD in the Advanced Signal Processing Research Group (ASPRG). The research is aimed at utilising Digital Watermarking as applied to telemetry signals and textual information to embed further pertinent information.
Studied for MEng in 'Electronics and Computer Systems Engineering' at Loughborough University 2003-2007.
Currently a PhD research student from 2007 in the Advanced Signal Processing Research Group.
The digital watermarking PhD research is currently used within the ASPRG project 'Mobile Communications to Improve Monitoring of Heart Disease and Diabetes' to embed patient information within a Telemedicine system based in India and the UK. This applies watermark signal processing to mobile phone and PDA devices connecting to a medical clinic database across 3G and Internet mobile communications networks.
