LISU's statistical compilation
for the information economy

For more than ten years, LISU produced the LIST – a summary of key statistics of interest to the library and information community. The LIST was made freely available both on paper and on the LISU website.

The LIST has now been replaced with the LAMPOST, which incorporates most of the LIST tables, together with a wider coverage of the museums and archives sectors. Most of the data cover the whole UK, and it is freely available online (but no longer provided on paper). It is our aim to maintain the historical time series in the data, and add new data as and when figures become available.
