Alasdair Scott graduated from Loughborough University in 2015 with a BSc (Hons) + DPS in Product Design and Technology. As an undergraduate within the Design School, Alasdair developed a strong interest in digital fabrication technologies and Computer Aided Design. This resulted in his appointment as a Research Assistant, developing Additively Manufactured textiles for footwear and apparel.

Alasdair is currently creating and developing textiles through Additive Manufacture for footwear and apparel. In collaboration with textile supplier The Yeh Group, the project aims to provide a sustainable, high performance alternative to the traditional manufacturing methods of the fashion industry.
