In order to achieve a close integration of academic study and industrial practice it is an aim of the 4 year programme that all students should be sponsored. All students are interviewed by the School and the consortium of sponsors prior to a course offer being made.
Sponsoring Companies
The sponsoring companies for the BSc in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying are the major British Construction Employers. Their experience in training will ensure that periods spent in industry will be designed to maximise the learning opportunities available whilst complementing academic studies.
All those successful students admitted onto the 4 year programme will be sponsored by one of these companies. The partnership between the sponsoring companies and the University will ensure the graduates from this course will be well educated and trained, not only to maximise their individual potential, but fully equipped to meet the challenging current and future needs for commercial management and quantity surveying in the industry.
