Background

Graduated Aston 1972 in Biochemistry, awarded PhD 1976 on Fixed Film Bioreactors. Worked for Severn Trent, ICI Pollution Control, UMIST, Cranfield University. Joined Loughborough 1993, Chair and Head of Water Engineering 1997.
