Registered architect with practical experience working as an architect and design manager. Holds a Masters in Professional Education, which focused on the integration of teaching and research in architectural technology. PhD in Architecture from the University of Manchester, (diffusion of innovations in the building industry). Appointed Hoffmann Professor of Innovation and Management in Building, Technical University of Denmark, in 2003. Joined Loughborough in 2007 as Professor of Architectural Technology.
