Background

Kirti Ruikar graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Pune, India. En route to her doctoral research, Kirti also completed an MSc in Construction Innovation and Management for which she secured a distinction. She successfully completed her doctorate studies in 2004. The DTI/PII project involved several active industry partners and professional bodies. Kirti investigated the tools and techniques used by construction organisations to support key construction knowledge processes. Following this she was awarded a research fellowship at at the 6* rated Salford Centre for Research and Innovation(SCRI) in University of Salford. At SCRI, she was involved in a portfolio of prestigious research projects covering various aspects of her specialisation in knowledge & information management such as the KIM Grand Challenge project and the Living-i project.
