Background
Kirti Ruikar graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Pune, India. She then worked as a design architect on several commercial and residential projects before enrolling for the Doctor of Engineering (EngD) programme at Loughborough University. En route to her doctoral research, Kirti also completed an MSc in Construction Innovation and Management for which she secured a distinction. She successfully completed her doctorate studies in 2004.
